The position is at General Manager Level, reporting to the Cluster Manager based in. 
 
The Country Manager will be a Key member of the Cluster Management team. The role will be a ‘Leader of Leaders’ position.

A global logistics and freight forwarder are looking for several Country Finance Managers in the above locations. 
 
The position is at Manager Level, reporting to the relevant Country Manager with some functional reporting directly to the Cluster Finance Manager based in. 
 
 
Essential job tasks 
 
• Responsible for all Finance and Accounting activities in the Country. 
• Develop and maintain a world class Finance Department by retaining talent and managing, coaching, mentoring all direct reports. 
• Provide ongoing support to the Country Management Team. 
• Involvement in finance related issues at country and cluster level in co-ordination with Cluster Finance and the African Regional Finance. 
• Ensure implementation and maintenance of effective accounting procedures and control systems in accordance with policies and guidelines. 
• Ensure that all audit, legal, statutory, board, license and tax issues are handled correctly and timely and in accordance with corporate/ local guidelines and directives. 
• Ensure adherence to credit policies and collection of receivables. 
• Ensure that world class internal control procedures are established and maintained. 
• Drive optimal cash management and risk management strategies. 
• Secure complete, accurate and timely financial and management reporting, including preparation of board material. 
• Ensure accurate reporting of costs and identify savings potential. 
• Drive yearly Budget process and ensure precise and accurate follow up throughout the year. 
• Establish and maintain a consolidated risk register. 
• Ensure that insurance cover for varied risks is regularly reviewed and is adequate. In addition, ensure that claims are lodged and maintained in timely and efficient manner 
• Ensure that all IT systems efficiently support the business.
